Charles Darwin: The Concise Story of an Extraordinary Man tells the story of Darwin's life from birth to death, his family, friends, books, accomplishments, and significance to Western thought. The book features 60 black and white and 16 color illustrations, and is published by Johns Hopkins University Press in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publications of On the Origin of Species in 2009.
