Grading Scheme

Each midterm is worth 200 points, 100 of which are open book (so know your text!!!)
Each lab exam is worth 100 points (and will be open book, so know your lab text!!!)
The final exam is not cumulative (i.e., treat it as a fourth midterm)
That’s a total of 1000 points—all individual grades will be presented as percentages
Remember that Laboratory Periods are also Recitation Periods!
