Welcome

The Office of  Student Leadership serves as a primary resource for students to get involved on campus and develop leadership skills. This office creates opportunities for student involvement and learning through individual and group leadership activities. These activities are designed to develop responsible student leadership on our campus and in the community promoting positive citizenship. The goal of assisting students in their overall development is an integral part of the Office of Campus Life.

Creating a Personal Mission Statement

A personal mission statement provides clarity and gives you sense of purpose.  It helps you focus in on what you want to accomplish and who you are striving to become.  It is a way to focus your energy, actions, behaviors and decisions towards your values.

There is no one strength that all good leaders possess, and even the most effective leaders are not well-rounded. Good leaders are acutely aware of their talents and use them to their best advantage. During this session, we will explore the concepts of strengths-based leadership and how you may be able to use your personal strengths to leverage your strengths as a leader and how you may compliment the strengths of others.
