Campus Life's Mission

We Can Help You Out!
Implementation of campus activities is one of the primary
roles of The Office of Campus Life. We plan events and leadership opportunities
ourselves, work through the Campus Activities Board, and help other groups
of individuals plan, implement and evaluate numerous events each year.

>>Mission Statement Mission Statement
The Office of Campus Life strives to complement the academic programs
at The Ohio State University-Mansfield and North Central State College and
enhance the overall educational experiences of students by providing co-curricular
programming that is intended to foster interpersonal and leadership skills
development, appreciation for diverse people and opinions and opportunities
for social, cultural, intellectual, physical and emotional growth.
Campus Activities
The Office is the hub of many student-orientated activities on campus. In
conjunction with the Campus Activities Board (CAB),
advised by the Assistant Coordinator of Campus Life, the Office coordinates a
wide range of activities and is devoted to providing quality programming for
students. Additionally, other student organizations provide opportunities
for further student involvement. To see what is happening on campus, check
out the Student Activities Calendar.
Student
Organizations and Leadership Programs
The Office of Campus Life is responsible for overseeing and assisting
the Student Organizations at The Ohio State

recognized by the Office of Student Activities represent professional, religious,
recreational, special interests, service, performance groups, and academic
honoraries.
The Office of Campus Life publishes the Student Organizations Handbook
(pick on up in the Office of Student Activities) which contains policies,
information, and resources for student organizations. Also contained in the
Handbook is the Student Organization Registration Form which each student
organization in required to fill out in order to obtain certain campus services.
There are many benefits to joining a student organization including making
new friends, developing leadership skills and abilities, working as part of
a team, learning to set and achieve goals, sharing your time and talents,
as well as having fun! As you begin to take advantage of the opportunities
available to you at The Ohio State University-Mansfield and North Central
State College, you will discover that the more involved you are in the college
community, the more you will benefit from your experience.
