The Part-Time MSW Option on a regional campus provides the opportunity to enroll in The Ohio State University's nationally recognized and fully accredited MSW program with the convenience of being close to home. Through a cooperative agreement between the Ohio State's College of Social Work and the regional campuses, students are able to complete the Master of Social Work degree requirements. Regional campus students receive the same quality educational experience as their Columbus counterparts. Regional classes are taught by OSU College of Social Work faculty and community practitioners. The same course of study, syllabi, and texts are used on all campuses. A new cohort of students begins in the Summer quarter of each calendar year.

The Ohio State University College of Social Work's MSW program provides an educational experience that responds to the need for greater competency in diverse practice arenas. Students acquire knowledge and skills in foundation areas of social work focusing on research, welfare policies and programs, human behavior and the social environment, and human diversity, as well as advanced skills in clinical or social administration practice. Two field practicums are scheduled along with classroom courses during specified quarters of enrollment. Field practicum assignments close to the student's home community may be at social service agencies that meet the educational requirements to be certified as a qualified practicum site.
