Dr. Terri D. Fisher

Curriculm Vita

Terri Fisher received her B.A. in 1975 from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She earned her Ph.D. in experimental/developmental psychology at the University of Georgia in 1982, after which she joined the faculty at OSU-Mansfield. Dr. Fisher has been involved with research on various aspects of sexual behavior and gender issues and has been the recipient of several research awards for this work. She is currently concentrating her research in two areas: parent-child communication about sexuality and gender and personality differences in various aspects of sexual behavior. Dr. Fisher is active in various professional and community organizations and is a Past-President of the Midcontinent Region of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, as well as a Consulting Editor for The Journal of Sex Research. She teaches General Psychology, Life-span Development, Psychology of Childhood, Adolescence, Psychology of Women, and Psychology of Human Sexuality. Dr. Fisher currently serves as Coordinator of the OSU-Mansfield Psychology program .

Terri Fisher shares her life with her husband, Paul Loeber, and two sons: Stuart, age 22 and Spencer, age 17. Their home is also inhabited by five cats (Soot, Beetlejuice, Sugar, Katrina, & Emma) and two dogs (Jasmine and Phoenix).
