Luther King, Jr. Holiday came to be, as well as discuss how we can continue to celebrate King's legacy.

Monday, 1/21 : "A DAY ON, NOT A DAY OFF!" Information is forthcoming detailing a service project with a community
agency to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Free T-Shirts and Lunch will be provided, please sign-up in the
Office of Multicultural Affairs as volunteer slots are limited.

Thursday, 1/31: 7:00 p.m.-Moving Blues Schoolhouse (Mansfield Senior High School)-sponsored by Arts &

, Assistant Professor of English, will discuss
how Harriet Hunt, one of the earliest women physicians in the US, used her status to challenge assumptions
about 19th century women's roles in government and society.
