Course Objectives: This course will provide students with a broad examination of the history of the world from approximately 1500 CE through the present day. Students will discuss primary sources, as well as historical readings, to determine what makes historical writing and the ways in which historians use evidence. Finally, students will scrutinize and discuss primary sources.
